Detaily projektu

  • the product is a web-based application primarily targeted at asset managers
  • the application provides insights into clients' portfolios through a wide range of analytics, including performance attribution and risk
  • these analytics are presented to users through a React web UI in the form of numerous graphs, tables, and dashboards
  • complex financial calculations are carried out by a backend system consisting of a distributed system of microservices and databases implemented in C# and SQL Server
  • the initial focus of the project will involve working with the data engineering team to integrate a large set of financial data (roughly 100TB) into our data warehouse
  • for this purpose, we are using a combination of Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions, and custom microservices
  • the majority of the mapping and transformation logic is written in C#

 

Požiadavky projektu

  • 4+ years of experience with C# and at least one SQL database
  • willingness to attend quarterly meetings in central London (4 times a year, 3-day event, travel and accommodation is paid for)
  • the developer should be able to write their own tests

  • nice to have:
    • SQL Server
    • Azure Data Factory / Azure Functions or other serverless technology
    • experience with microservices
    • Docker/Kubernetes
    • HTTP APIs
    • experience working with large volumes of data
    • experience with Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, and/or Continuous Deployment
    • experience working with APM (such as Datadog)
    • experience working in an Agile Scrum Team
    • experience with data engineering
