Project description
- analysis and documentation of business and IT activities performed in SAP S/4HANA and SAP ERP environments
- focus of analysis mainly on areas of Finance, Controlling including CATS and Accounting
- comparison of how activities are performed in SAP S/4HANA and SAP ERP environments
- categorization of activities according to defined roles – Business User, Business Key User, IT Functional Consultant, IT Developer, and IT Architect
- documentation of individual activities, expected outputs, and relationships between functional task groups
- identification of competencies required to perform individual activities
- analysis of necessary training areas and knowledge enablement
- design of a role interaction model including activity ownership
- creation and maintenance of documentation for the distribution of activities among individual roles
- recording of findings, assumptions, and proposals for activity mapping in SharePoint and Microsoft Teams
- preparation of status reports and documentation packages for project governance
- preparation of a complete activity catalog for SAP S/4HANA and SAP ERP
- creation of an activity categorization matrix according to defined roles
- creation of a competency mapping and an overview of training topics
- preparation of a proposal for a role interaction and activity allocation model
- analysis of the SAP S/4HANA environment in SAP Private Cloud with integration to SAP BTP and its comparison with the existing SAP ERP environment
- cooperation takes place in a 100% REMOTE mode with 50% FTE (20 hours per week)
Project requirements

min. 5 years of project experience in SAP S/4HANA / SAP ERP Business Analysis, ideally with a focus on FI/CO and organizational or process analyses
- experience with:
- SAP S/4HANA
- SAP ERP
- SAP Finance / FI
- SAP Controlling / CO
- CATS
- Accounting processes
- analysis and documentation of business and IT activities
- activity categorization and competency mapping
- preparation of role interaction and activity allocation models
- SAP BTP
- SAP Private Cloud environment
- creation of project documentation and status reports
- knowledge of architecture and development in SAP environment
- ability to analyze differences between SAP S/4HANA and SAP ERP environments
- ability to link business activities with IT roles and competencies
- analytical and documentation skills
- English at a communicative level (spoken and written)
- advantageous:
- German
- experience with R&R or Capacity Management
- experience with transformation projects during the transition from SAP ERP to S/4HANA
- experience with project governance
- experience with SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud and SAP BTP integrations
- independence and ownership
