Project description
- unique opportunity to participate in quality assurance and development of an international Live & VOD streaming platform expanding into European markets
- analysis and transformation of business and technical requirements into complex test scenarios for iOS, Android, Web, and Smart TV
- operating at the key interface between requirements authors, manual testers, and the automated testing team
- detailed review of specifications and acceptance criteria with the aim of identifying ambiguities, conflicts, and undefined states before the start of verification
- creation and maintenance of test cases covering standard flows, boundary conditions, error scenarios, and non-standard inputs
- specification and preparation of test data required for test execution
- preparation of detailed documentation and scenarios for the Playwright framework and handover of specifications to automation engineers
- maintaining links between requirements, test cases, and recorded defects in the test management system
- evaluation of test coverage before each release and active participation in release readiness decisions
- collaboration in a 5-day onsite (Prague) mode during onboarding, and then 3 days onsite and 2 days remote
Project requirements
- advanced experience with:
- at least 5 years of experience in manual testing in a commercial environment
- at least 2 years of creating test scenarios from written specifications and requirements
- deep practical experience with the Playwright framework
- advanced test design techniques such as boundary value analysis, equivalence partitioning, decision tables, and state transitions
- advanced knowledge of:
- fluent Czech, spoken and written
- English at a minimum of B2 level for daily work in an international team
- knowledge of:
- application functionality across iOS, Android, Web, and Smart TV platforms
- linking and tracing requirements, tests, and defects in test management tools
- advantageous:
- ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level or ISTQB Advanced Level Test Analyst certification
- experience with interface testing and REST API and Postman tools
- domain knowledge in video streaming, television broadcasting, or digital media
- experience in handing over specifications and test scenarios for automation
